I will discuss current study status with the PFSF and if required an email will be sent to PH.com members as a reminder.
I believe the study authors are also having additional success with recruitment via advertising in local papers as well.
Notna - Great idea to email the PH members, I just posted elsewhere that we need more involvement from those registered here, solidarity will push us forward.
This is a great idea. Even if it means we get one more participant it is worth it. Thanks for all your work

I had my appointment today at Baylor! To have a doctor actually believe that PFS is real and believe what I was telling him made the trip worthwhile in itself. I did question the research coordinator about the number of participants and she said they still needed 10 or so. If anyone is considering it, PLEASE go! The office visit didn’t cost me anything. Payment was never mentioned and nothing was said about insurance. The only thing I paid for was my trip to Houston. I will say I did have to be persistent on getting the appointment. After waiting for a return call for about a week…I gave Philip Roberts with the Foundation a call and he got the ball rolling. Just go do it! I promise you will be glad you did.
