Tell us your story, in your own words, about your Finasteride usage and side effects experienced while on/off the drug.
As said above, I took Finasteride for about 8 years with a dose of 1mg/day. I took it because of really early hair loss and this has indeed had the desired effect: I recovered a good part of them. While on treatment, I didn’t experience any side effect. At the end of March, I stopped because my wife and I desired a child. As from June, I begun to experience excessive unexplained tiredness and very regular headaches. I had two blood tests (one requested by my general practitioner and one complementary by an internist) and have seen an ORL to rule out the chronicle sinusitis. One more symptom that I have is that I have more secretions than usual from my eyes (I need to rub them in the morning).
I nearly thought the only explanation is psychological but I am intimately convinced this is the other way around. Now, could my symptoms be caused by the quitting of Finasteride? I didn’t see any reference to headaches, hence the question.
