This should serve as a reminder that despite how horrible our disease is for those of us who have made it this far (RIP to those in our community who haven’t), it can always be worse. At least we’re alive. At least we have a chance. We can argue how great that chance is. But it isn’t hopeless for us. Reminders like this give me some solace and catharsis.
