Onset of PFS years after discontinuation?

Do PFS symptoms usually appear either while still taking Propecia or very quickly after discontinuation? Or rather, is it very common for the problems not to begin until several years after discontinuation of the drug? Any insight someone could provide would be greatly appreciated.

I may have had somewhat diminished libido at time of discontinuation, but the problem seemed to become very acute suddenly several years later. I wonder how consistent this would be with PFS.

I had loss of fullness and penile shrinkage 5 years after quitting fin. I could easily get great erections with very little viagra for 5 years, now I can’t get anywhere near enough with high doses. I did use nizoral shampoo for eczema for a few years, which might have contributed to shrinkage.

"I have recently seen an increasing number of men who have developed significant degrees of clinical hypogonadism – low sex drive, erectile dysfunction, reduced sexual sensations and listlessness, fatigue and/or ‘brain fog’ – while either taking finasteride or after stopping the medication, even long after stopping it.

… If high normal levels of testosterone, combined with low estrogen levels, does not relieve the hypogonadal symptoms, then the possibility that the man has some resistance to testosterone must be considered.”

Yes many crashed over a year after quitting. Almost like fin left damage to the receptor only to be triggered later in life

8 months out, crash.

It seems that those who crash later usually have some sides after they quit.
