Off Propecia after 26 days, Has the damage been done?

Threw away the pills after 26 days…

Hi Everyone, I’m new to this forum. I noticed symtops after taking procepia which led me to this helpful site

Just like everyone else here who looked for a resolution to hairloss, I came to notice symptoms that everyone here is describing. After 2 weeks of taking the pill i did notice a less desire for sex. I’m 25 and married. The 3rd week me and my wife decided to have sex, thats when i noticed that i had trouble erecting… It would get hard then shrinks back to normal size after 15 secs… Before taking the pills i had no problem erecting. I’m healthy and working out consistantly. I’m off the pills now for 2 days, still having trouble erecting. Also when i think about having sex it doesnt turn me on at all… I hope the pill didn’t do anything real damage since its only 26 days. Anyone here have an idea to how long it will take to recover or will recover at all because i’m anxious. I’m only 25 i can’t go on if i develop ED from this pathetic pill…

Any advice/info is greatly appreciated.

Sorry to hear about your trouble so far man… id just suggest going to your doctor and getting the bloodtest outlined in the website faq. Also try and stay calm, most people do get better within a few months.

Too soon to worry, it will take roughly a month for the pill to even exit your system, so it is not surprising you haven’t noticed any change yet. Golf is right, take some blood tests now (at least the most important ones), and in the meantime try not to worry. Give it a few months and then reevaluate, if you are still having some trouble, come by the site again. Hopefully you’ll resolve completely, best wishes.

get hormone blood tests now…then wait couple and then retest again. I wuold speak to someone good like Dr. Shippen or Dr. Crisler who knows what they are talking about.

These other doctors are idiots and have no clue.

Thank me later,

Thanks for the input so far guys… Ill give it a month if it doesnt improve i will go have some tests done

you should get tests done now. If it doesn’t improve in a month then you’ll know where you were at when you came off.
