Has anyone heard of “Nu Hair”? Its an oral supplement for blocking DHT and I wonder if that too causes the same problem in men who are genetically setup to fall victim of the post-finasteride syndrome.
Anyone try it?
No, why would we? Who cares about hair anymore and is interested in blocking DHT?
Mew, you’re clearly angry and rightly so. But I don’t think it’s in the best interest of these forums if you take it out on people here who are trying to nut this out.

Agreed. I suffer from pfs, and I know this isn’t a hairloss forum, but I still combat my hairloss so that when we all have a cure I may still be able to hit the scene with a fuller head of hair. I don’t want to use a product that may re-create the problem we all have. I’m simply asking if anyone knows if I’m walking into another death trap. Aren’t we all here to help support each other in a safe environment?
I look forward to that cure we all need… It’s coming fellas! Keep working out, eating right, and fighting hairloss so you all have great confidence with woman once your soldier is brought back to attention!!

Guys, this is pretty simple actually…
Anything that can inhibit 5AR2/DHT, whether natural or pharmaceutical, likely has the possibility to cause issues in those that are susceptible. In this regard it is not the agent, but the mechanism of action that is the issue.
Therefore, you’ve likely already answered your own question, by posing this question. If you want to inhibit DHT again to save hair, then you should be prepared for any ill effects that may result.
This has nothing to do with being “angry” as J89 puts it, its to make the issue crystal clear that being concerned about vanity is what got us in this mess in the first place, and you’d figure we’d have learnt our lesson by now. If you want to chance things again, that’s your call.
There are so many hariloss forums why don’t you ask these questions over there. No body is interested now in hair loss or hair regrowth any more. We are fighting tooth and nail to regaine our lost health here.
