not gynecomastia ?

For those of u that read my thread on testogel u know i had to stop treatment because of pain in my chest (upper) and what looked like an increase in breast size.

Now the dr tells me after check up that hes 95% certain that my case is not gyno, it is infact enlarged lymphnodules. However 1 can not be sure unless 1 do a biopsy and he felt (me too) that it was to invasive on such small glands if they stopped hurting as the have for half a week or so now.

So going on testosterone give me enlarged lymphnodes. What could be the cause of this? Any1 have a theory that is worth looking up? doc just said it was prolly due to an infection. However im certain there is a relation between this and the testosterone since i had enlarged lymph nodes coming off propecia too.

Looking around for myself all i find is cancer this and cancer that. But thats not relevant here i think since my enlargement has a direct relation to the testosteron. Atleast i hope its not relevant. Gulp.

Please respond if u have any ideas on what to check for or what could be causing this.

However, most authorities believe that a decreased (T+DHT)/E ratio is central to the development of gyno, and that blocking the effects of estrogen, or increasing T + DHT levels, is central to ameliorating the problem.

Taking extraneous T without monitoring Estrogen levels is NOT a good idea, because all that extra T can aromatize into Estrogen and lead to gyno. It’s the same issue guys get with Finasteride due to upregulated Testosterone.

And you should get bloodwork to check for cancer antibodies if you are concerned, breast cancer has been reported in some trials with Finasteride due to disturbed androgen/estrogen balance.

Not trying to scare you, likely nothing to worry about but it would be better to be safe than sorry and have it checked out.
