Normalizing my Sleeping Schedule

I’ve had a night schedule for years now, usually going to bed at 5 or 7 in the morning and getting up in the afternoon. Apart from the practical problems you have sometimes when you’re functioning on a schedule that is completely out of touch with the world’s schedule, I am wondering if this might not affect my recovery, as you hear sometimes that the quality of your sleep is better before midnight. I don’t know if this is an old lady’s tale or if it is based on scientific facts, but at least there’s the daylight exposure that might be beneficial.

Starting now, I’m going to change my sleeping schedule to a more nightly one. I wanna to now if any of you guys have seen an improvement in their condition going to bed earlier?

yeah, my erections, mood, libido, pretty much everything is a lot better when I get enough sleep, and at the right time. In my opinion getting to bed at the right time is the most important for this, at least this is what I have noticed from my own personal experience.

I think I’ve noticed the same. I had an episode where I definitely got sleep at 10pm and woke up somewhere at 8, and I just felt much better on that time. I can sleep the same amount the other time but for some reason, that time window was important. I did sleep after 11pm and such during that time and it just didn’t feel the same (my sleep was initially messed up, then forced it slowly to get to 10pm and 8am). Takes a lot of discipline but most of the discipline is in just believeing & fixing that you should not stimulate yourself with lights or entertaiment around the time you are supposed to sleep.

I think someone else, maybe moonman1, reported feeling much better on 10pm-630am sharp? This is really interesting stuff anyways. I’d like to hear what are other people’s experience on this thing.
