Hey Guys
Just a quick run down. I started loosing hair at 18 and got on the drug Propecia before my 20th birthday at NW2. I am now 26. I never experienced side effects for almost the whole 6 years until only 2 months ago when I started forming gyno in my right chest. I also started noticing very weak erection and some mild depression. So as of 3 weeks ago I discontiued the drug. So far so good. The lump in my right chest that was sore has shrunk to almost zero in size and is no longer sore. Erections are slowly returning to normal but still not 100%. But my mood is a big improvement, I have been on the drug so long I never realised that it had effected my mood like it did.
I guess I am one of the lucky ones (fingers crossed) I just wanted to share my case with you considering it took 6 years to feel the side effects. I will never touch the drug again.
However the drug did well for my hair. After 6 years my hair is about NW2.5. Will the use of minoxidil be safe? And has anybody maintained their hair using this drug? Although I am very relieved to be of propecia I dont want to loose my hair.
