Hey guys. I was not around for a long time. Some of my sides went away but new ones popped as my T plummeted. Here’s the deal:
I’m off for 2 years now. Was on it for 4. I have normal LH & FSH yet low T. Used to be on the higher end. It has been like this for about a year now. I tried going down the natural route under the supervision of an endo who knows about PFS but couldn’t accomplish much.
My sides related to low T are (those were either not present or mild before the plummeting of T):
- No concentration at all, extremely lowered mental capacity
- Excessive sweating
- A bit of a shrinkage (I guess)
- An irrepressible desire to die
- Palpitations
So my endo prescribed HcG today. 1500 IU, twice a week. She was not that willing since I am young and other than Low T my bloodwork is fine and she mentioned the risk of a HTPA shutdown but I was desparate, I literally begged for a prescription; I did not mention HcG, just asked for anything. Came back home and read a bit about HcG, so I have 2 questions:
- Since HcG mimics LH, does it suppress natural LH production, just as TRT does for T? When I quit HcG will my LH production return to baseline?
- Is Clomid + AI route safer? Or since my LH & FSH is normal, what would be an optimum route?
Any kind of experience is really appreciated. Thanks.
