No Dreams

Since I took finasteride back in 2010 I cannot recall a single dream, not one

Is this the same for others too?

I’m talking about just normal, non sexual dreams

I have dreams all the time. Can’t remember if i stopped having them when i crashed, but if i didn’t it wasn’t for long.

I cound’nt dream either but when I was off fin for about a year I slowly started to dream again.

My sleep is constantly disturbed by intense dreams, does anyone else have this problem?

No, like I said, I have NO DREAMS

That might be a good thing I had a dream last night were I told the doc who put me on Finasteride that I had PFS and he started mocking me. The dream made me so angry.

I wouldn’t even be surprised if that was true!

Just recently int he last few months i’ve been able to excersize and lift weights again… but on the down side it has made my sleep aboslutley terrible… i literally cannot sleep for more than a few hours… its brutal… melatonin does not help at all… sucks

I have been suffering with terrible sleep too, I have found magnesium and argnine work well to calm my mind.

How is your quality of sleep apart from the lack of dreams, improving?

Yes, I went through the same phase. No dreams at all for quite a while.
But now my dreams are back finally. I’m nearly at year 4 of recovery (assuming a full restoration is possible).

Here’s what I’m doing:
EmpowerPlus by TrueHope - Cognitive, Depression, Anxiety, Bipolar, ADHD (all symptoms of PFS)
Celtic Dreams by CelticLabs (phfsupplements.com) Allopregnanolone
Andractim - Topical DHT (dhtcream.com) for libido, gynecomastia and hypogonadotropic hypogonadism.
Omega 3’s from Metagenics
Lithium Oratate for mood stability

And of course, diet, exercise and avoiding gluten, dairy, Sugar and Alcohol.

I must admit that I feel and think better than i have in years. But even so, I’m not fully recovered and going through a divorce really complicates my mood and depression recovery.

By the way, the New York court has started discovery of Merck, over 1 million pages. Possible for a bellwether case to be tried within the next year or so.

Yes, my sleep is improving, I generally fall asleep within 20 minutes but my sleep is very light and I wake about 5 times per night but manage to get comfortable and go straight back to sleep again and when I do wake in the night, I have no nocturnal or morning erections

My Remeron (anti depressant) helps with my sleep too to a degree

Yours and my stories are very similar and I just pray I see an improvement like you are.

I’m approaching 12 months off now and I’ve improved in most areas except sexually

Let’s hope Merck get taken down!

Hello guys 2 years and a half after quit the drug.

I have been also without dreaming before.

Try Vit E. before sleep. Everytime I get that I remember my dreams for the night.

I get too many dreams and waking up a lot during nights. I am hardly ever able to sleep for more than 4 hours before waking up the first time. After that it’s maybe an hour of sleep - waking up cycles but on the plus side I am usually able to fall asleep again almost immediately. And damn, those dreams… feels like I’m dreaming all the time when I’m sleeping! And doesn’t that mean that you’re not in very deep sleep phase? And I have almost zero wet dreams, although I don’t think I ever had much of those really.
