Does anyone have these problems, I realise I don’t dream and I don’d find pleasure listening to music. I used to love listening to music. But for past four years, i hardly enjoy any.
Has anyone one recovered from these side effects?

ON DRUG:
OFF DRUG:
As for no longer feeling pleasureable emotions from music, hobbies etc – yes, this still remains (emotional blunting/flatness) however it is slowly improving, at a very slow rate. Unfortunately the loss of androgen probably also plays a role in this/apathetic response to most things which were previously stimulating, possibly tying into the dopamine system as well.
I dream a LOT but my sleep is all over the place. Last night i probably had over 5 dreams, but i woke up over 10 times probably and half the time was not asleep properly.
Woke up this morning feeling completely numb in the brain. So i am sitting in bed wondering how on earth i am going to survive the day?
You can have mine if you like, they’re pretty horrible.
ChrisC,
I don’t want to scare anybody, but I am almost 8 years of the drug by now and I have exactly the same problems as while on the - no improvement.
I don’t get deep sleep phases. I wake up at night and can hardly fall asleep again.
I always believed that my body will recover naturally - without anything! However, it is time to act now.
