New Zealand's Ministry of Health gives PFS its Props...

On March 3, 2016, New Zealand’s Ministry of Health published a PFS page on its MedSafe page. And the reference for that information is as follows:

  1. Post-Finasteride Syndrome Foundation. 2015. Global Public Health Advisory – US National Institutes of Health Recognises Post-Finasteride Syndrome.

Also note that they reference having 10 reports to date of PFS cases in their own country.

This appears to be the first time ever that a foreign ministry of health has formally acknowledged PFS.

The promising news is that it sets a precedent for other nations to follow suit.

Thats very good news that they recognise it but just 10 reports of PFS in a Country of over 4 million people seems like a very small number to me.

I would expect the real number to be at least in the hundreds.

Hey, don’t knock it. As far as I can see, the ministry of health in no other foreign nation on earth even mentions PFS.

So this is a good start.

And it will grow.

Your right its good that PFS is getting official recognition. They can no longer write us off as a bunch of hypochondriacs.

Even the Bald Truth now recognise PFS.

Going forward I think the hair loss industry will admit PFS is real but that its “very rare” and that Finasteride is still “incredibly safe”.

100% agreed!
