new user

hi i am new in this forum and would like to ask questions
about my story, i was a user of propecia for about a year, i started using it in feb 2004 when i was 18 years old and desperate because of my hair loss at young age, since the beginnig i experienced side effects such as testicular pain and loss of libido(very young to experienced this) i continue using the drug because i thought this was normal, i used it for about six months straight and i noticed that the symptoms went away for a while but i was not the same as before before taking the drug i felt that i was not as smart as before or focused in school and this was my first year in college, during the following 6 months i used the drug with long breaks in between like not using for two or three weeks to see what happened. around may 2005 i decided to stop the drug because i heard from a family member that this drug could caused permanent impotence so i quit its use. at the beginning after quitting, i had loss of libido, erectile problems and testicular pain, i guess my body was recovering from such bad medication, now in 2008 i felt that i have not recover 100% probably 85% since i gained weight and eventhoug i dont experienced erectile problems i now that my libido its not as excellent as used to be before the dug, sorry for the long story, my question is what kind of blood tests should i take to see if my testosterone levels are in the normal range
thank you evryone
by the way i was a yahoo member but i could not log in to yahoo anymore
