Hello every one. I am 23 and right now i am in a state of major confusion. All i seek is some advice and help from all you guys.
My life is a mess :cry: Following are the questions to which i need answers or i think i might just go mad one day not knowing what to do.
PLEASE give me all the advice and recommendations that you all can give.

  1. Using Finasteride(propecia) for me was like an on and off thing. I long back had the pills for a period of 2-4 months. Are 4 months enough to do the damage to your sex life?

  2. I have alopecia(male patern baldness). It doesn’t come as a surprise that no matter how many doctors you go to for this problem, you end up getting the same prescriptions which involves Finasteride. I want to know whether i should take it or not?

  3. Are there any alternatives to Finasteride?

  4. I had approached a doctor who is a specialist in hair transplant but even he said that i must first take Finasteride before i go in for hair transplantation.

  5. Last question for you people… WHAT SHOULD I DO? :cry:

Yes.

Your decision, but would strongly advise against. Suggest you read through this site before you make up your mind, especially Finasteride Studies section.

Hello every one. I dint know that a forum like this existed untill i found it through google. I was searching for possible side effects of Propecia. Its my request to all of you to help me on the following matter.

  1. I am a 23 unmarried guy and must have used Propecia(Finasteride) for a period of 4-6 months max in my entire life some years back. I some how wanted to start again but after going thru some shocking facts here i am never going to touch this drug.
    I am some how curious to know that what blood tests must i get done in order to know that i am fit sexually and that nothing is wrong with me. Things like DHT or any other tests that i need to do.
    I dont have any problems like ED but i want to know whether every thing is ok internally. I do have a problem called Varicocele in my testicles but the Dr said that i dont need any surgery at this time but i might need it if i am unable to produce kids.

  2. To cut the long story short, i just need to know all the blood tests that i must get done so that i can rule out if i am alright and that Propecia has not caused any harm to my sexual system. I AM VERY DISTURBED. PLEASE HELP ME. THANK YOU.

Dude, dont be stupid. Read the site. Do you know how to read? :question: The choice is yours, to risk losing your manhood, or not risk it at all. Again, dont be stupid. There are many on here that could care less about hair now that finasteride has ruined their lives.
Everyone here is going to tell you DON’T TAKE IT! Simple as that!
So post something relevant, otherwise don’t post anything at all.

My dear friend thank you for ur concern. I very well know how to read and also i am not stupid. Its something new to me and thats why i asked. I dont know what made u think i am stupid. Learn to relax bro. I am not going to take this drug at all. But there were questions that were lurking in the core of my brain so i thought of asking. What is the point for me to signup on this forum if i cant ask questions. I am sorry if i spoilt ur mood. Forgive me.
