propecia destroyed my life, i lost my girlfirend i was about to get married, i lost my job and my parents are suffering also. i had severe depression, anxiety, impotence, loss of Libido, penile shrinkage and numb. i quit taking finasteride 2 years ago and still have those side effects. i consulted a psychiatry, urologist, psychologist. i was on depression medication for 2 years, i took cialis but only worked while it was on my body. i think i recovered a bit from depression, but still with impotence. Before i had sex everyday, sometimes 2-3 times a day, now i have to struggle to have and and maintain an erection. i had panic attacks and thoughts of suicide. In this last 2 years my life as been a hell. i thought depression was a result from impotence and stress but now i see the cause was propecia. i really want my life back to normal and i´m looking for help on this forum. only now i am trying to find a new girlfriend and want a normal sexual life but i have to recovery from side effects that are killing me.

Amigo aqui estamos para ayudarnos unos a otros como puedes ver estamos pasando lo mismo yo comence desde el año 2000 y lo deje en el 2002 tengo mas de 10 años en este infierno. que esperamos salir algun dia. tengo 32 años y es una pesadilla que vivo a diario. te puedo recomendar para la depresion 5htp. con eso siempre veraz una luz al final del tunel por decirte algo. para la niebla de cerebro puedes tomar Tebokan. para la impotencia Minipress y Doxacina en mi caso es lo unico que ha funcionado.

i think having no libido and impotence, these sympthons by them themselves can cause depression, if propecia mess up with the brain directly, the result is complete chaos.
i already spent lots of money trying to recover with medication and doctors, even i can recover 100%, no one can pay what i have lost in my life, i had a beautifull girfriend and good job, i could be a happy married man with kids and family, and i´m miserable now, alone with this disease. i already lost 2 years of my life and i know i may have more years in front of me. when i started on fin i didn´t worried about side effects because i read they were reversible and it was only 3% of men. that was a lie.

more details about my story, first side effect i noticed was gynecomastia when i saw a picture of myself at the beach, i thought i was just getting fat and older. it happened in the 4th year os taking fin. by the end of 5th year i couldn´t have an erection, had no pleasure in sex and no libido. Then i started to get depressive and i knew things were wrong, i couldn´t make a simple decision with my brain, i couldn´t sleep and work, always anxious, i cried many times like a baby, i was complete screwed. i searched on internet and found this forum with many users with same problems. From that point i just got worse, i had the system crash, panic attacks, severe depression, complete impotence. before i was a strong men, now i´m a weak person, no social life, only my parents know about this and they are also suffering a lot.
in 2 years after quit fin, i think i recovered 100% from gynecomastia with exercice and diet, i think i recovered 60% from depression and brain fog, at least for now, but i recovered maybe 10% from sexual side effects. i have no morning or nocturnal erections and no libido, before this i couldn´t spend 1 day without sex or masturbation. now i have no pleasure in masturbation or sex.

i don´t have much money to try new treatments, so any help is welcome.
when i take ciallis i can have an erection but 1 pill only works for 1 day, they are expensive and i don´t want to spend the rest of my life taking ciallis, i would like to treat the root of the problem.
i think if i can recover 90-100% of sexual side effects i can live the rest of my life as a normal person.

The side effects of finasteride are unbelievable.
How many more lives will be ruined and devastated by this drug?

Anyway, can you tell me what supplements you have tried?
Have you tried Tongkat Ali?

Tongkat ali helps me but i need to take it for a few days before i feel the benefits.
I’m not claiming it is a cure for PFS or anything like that, but may give you a temporary boost in testosterone.

It should work synergistically with any bodybuilding/weight lifting regime.

i didn´t take any natural suplements yet, i took cialis sometimes, and i spend last 2 years fighting depression with antidepressant, anti-anxiety and sleeping pills.
i will try now natural suplements, i´m thinking of maca, horny goat weed, carnitine, arginine, gaba, 5htp.
i know they help only temporarly, but i don´t know what else i can do.
and i exercice frequently, always had.
