What (if any) treatments have you undertaken to recover from your side effects since discontinuation of the drug? I will add this in the future its a long extensive list of things I have tried.

If you have pre or post-drug blood tests, what hormonal changes have you encountered since discontinuing the drug (please post your test results in the “Blood Tests” section and link to them in your post)? No hormonal changes on paper, every blood test comes back in range.

Anything not listed in the above questions you’d like to share about your experience? After ingesting it I lost nicotine cessation in my stomach after 20 minutes and had stroke like symptoms for 3 days. The left side of my face went numb, after 3 months MRI of brain, neck, back all came back OK, normal great and white matter, no stroke and all nerves fine. I had 2-3 months of something feeling like it was stuck in my throat and slowly worsened everyday for 3 months until full PSSD. During this period experienced immense de-realisation and constant panic 24/7. Now I can neither feel Panic or Anxiety or adrenaline.

Tell us your story, in your own words, about your usage and side effects experienced while on/off the drug.

I just thought it was a good idea to try it to boost test, took half a tablet and now over a year later I’m still stuffering everyday 24/7.

Hello and welcome to the forum.

It looks as if you have genital tissue changes, but don’t suffer from ED or lowered libido? That seems to be pretty uncommon here.

The loss of “internal voice” you describe went hand in hand with the loss of ability to visualize things for me. It’s just something I never thought worth mentioning among all the other symptoms. It was more like a loss of overall imaginative capacity than any one particular aspect.

It is unusual to see these kinds of persistent problems after taking ashwagandha alone. Has anyone else here had a similar experience? I do know some people report long term effects from other naturally occurring CNS depressants, specifically marijuana.

I cannot feel androgens in my body.

Wow. I haven’t read too much about ashwagandha causing pfs. I totally believe it though. I remember somebody posting about it before in a chat group I was in. Hope you can get better man.
