New Member - A Question About Shrinkage

Hi everyone,

I am new to this board and have been reading all of the interesting posts for much of the day. I believe I am suffering the effects of antiandrogen hair loss treatments. I was on Propecia for about 6 years, when one morning I awoke and my penis started shrinking before my eyes. I think I lost several years off of my life that day. I stopped Propecia, recovered, but several months later I decided to try Eucapil as it is supposed to not be absorbed into the skin, water soluble, etc. After 2 weeks, I had the same shrinkage, but much worse as the shrinkage was on and off for 3 days. I have not recovered and it has been a couple of months. My erections come back and I start to recover, but over the past several weeks I have found that if I have a fews beers, exercise vigorously, get stressed, my penis shrinks and I am back to square one. Now it seems like the bar has been set very low, and just lifting heavy bags from the grocery store causes shrinkage.

I plan on getting the full tests mentioned, so can anyone can recommend a good doctor in the Bay Area of CA?

Can anyone offer suggestions to stop the shrinkage? I feel if I can prevent that, then I can recover. From reading the posts, it seems a lot of people mention ED and loss of libido, but I can see that they exercise and do other things I can’t.

Thanks and good health to all,

Scott

Read the stickies in the “Sexual Side Effects” section and also this study:

A good thing to try would be L-Arginine 2-3grams nightly (or low dose viagra) to try and boost nocturnals.

This is to maintain and hopefully prevent penile tissue fibrosis due to lack of erections, which cause lack of tissue oxygenation… and also to combat decreased nitric oxide, which could have been brought on by Fin’s lowering of DHT (DHT mediates NO production).
