I found this website will trying to find a answers to the way i was feeling and these feeling were getting worse. I have stopped everything in my life except propecia and this was the cause. Over the years I gained 5kg I just thought I was getting older and was coming with age even though I reguraly exercised , i also has cases odd anxiety episodes with stopped me from socializng to a degree if i didnt feel “Comfortable” I would get out of the situation!! i had dark circles under my eyes and there were also alway red I was always irritable and it just wasnt me !! untill one day i had a panic attach then another I did some research and found this forum thankfully Im not alone !! I have been off it for 8weeks now the first 3 weeks I was ontop of the world felt the best ever the last few weeks I had a bad crash depressed crying during the day for no reason. Though the anxiety is better I just feel down in the dumps!! It’s hard when my 3yr old boy ask me “daddy are you going to cry again”. I have had testosterone checked it came back at 16.2 in morning and 5.9 in afternoon which the Doctors say is in range 'yea for a 70yr old ind you I have seen 4 doctors not much help they just say your depressed !! which I already know but the cause is this dirty pill I have taking for 11yrs . Well Im trying to be positive and this will get better. Ps now I weigh 85kg the same as I weighed before propecia!!!

Where in AUS are you?

The crying and depression I would say would be coming from too high estrogen in relation to other hormones.

Have you tested e2?

I suggest you do a full load of tests.

Also I suggest you do some silivary test on your own accourd. You can order though Path Labs. Do cortisol dhea, test, progesterone. e1,e2,e3.

Go to your docter and demand that he does some tests,inform him that now the label of propecia states it make cause persistent problems.

If you are in syd let me know. I can tell you which doctors are at least OK.

Hi Mate,
Iv given up on doctors they just say your depressed or anxious!! I see a natural path and been taking some calm tablets and natural testosterone boosters i feel better though not 100% , Im in perth I might go get these test done . The natural path I spoke to said you have to allow 1month for every year your have been on the drug for recovery so im hoping 9 more months Ill be better. Thanks for the response.
