I was on propecia for about 5 months or so…it worked …but ton the detriment of my dick size and sex drive. I’ve lost about an inch or so when flaccid and don’t really have much sexual feeling anymore. My hard ons are softer and i only get horny every few days now. I stopped taking the shit today because i am afraid it will continue to shrink…I don’t care if i go bald…I’ve read some real horror stories on this board…is my life over? Can I recover my sex drive? Should I see a urologist and get on some type of Viagra or cialis regimen? What can I do? Feeling low here…
No one really knows what to do, if anything has any effect mitigating or reversing the effects. Possibility given you only took it a short period of time may weigh in your favor. I recall when I used to feel libido every 48 hours strangely, but alas I kept taking it not realizing what was taking place. When libido stopped entirely I don’t know but it did and be thankful you’re feeling some spontaneously sometime.
Try to relax, and give it at least 2 weeks. That’s how long it’s supposed to take for your hormones to return to baseline values, according to Merck. It means that all symptoms should subside within then.
