I am actually female who experienced hair loss after medications given by doctors, Citalopram. Doctors tried to remedy the situation by giving hormone replacement therapy. That also failed and now they are suggesting finasteride. I happen to come across this forum and I am so glad I did. I really did not want to go down a path that was going to do more harm. I am here to learn and prevent a whole lot of pain from happening due to ill advice from doctors.

Sorry to hear that you’ve had to suffer for so many years. Great job on doing your homework on finasteride. Canadian doctors hand finasteride and ssris out like candy. It’s absurd.

Hello! I know! Candy in pretty packages. I’m still not healed from post acute withdrawal syndrome after all these years, so I can’t imagine another decade of suffering another substance. I was reading some great stuff here about Calcium D glucarate and I suspect our bodies are overburdened by estrogen. This will be a great experiment.
