Hello, my name is Martin and I’ve only been taking Fin for about twelve days. Like some of you, I was very, very, wary of this drug, but was hanging out in hair loss forums, and everyone made it seem I was insane and retarded for being wary. Desperate to stop my hair loss I started on Finpecia, and after 12 days I’m stopping, the feelings I have are not natural and my body knows better than a bunch of fools brainwashed by drug companies. I’m accepting my hair loss until a safer treatment is available, but now I have a question.

I have had some common sides, aches, shakiness, mind fog, tiredness, and possibly some sexual sides, it seems I just can’t jerk it like I used to, to be blunt. I know it’s not my mind tricking me, because I was optimistic about Fin while i was taking it. Ok, I need your help guys, I know it’s only been 12 days, but we all know how fast this crap works on our bodies, how should I go off it, cold turkey or gradual, and have I really been taking it long enough to worry?

Hi Yaas welcome on board, hope you find the help and information you need around here. From what I’ve read you have only been taking finasteride merely 12 days, I know this maybe enough to start acting and causing symptoms but I also think that you haven’t took it to the point to cause permanent damage.I reccomend you come off it all toghether as is it is quite difficult to reduce the dosage progressively on finasteride 1mg.I’m pretty sure you will be back to pre fina status in no time. Most of us here have been taking it over a 6 month period and maybe struggling over recovery; I don’t think you have nothing to worry about but if troubles do persist please let us know.

It’s only been 12 days, quit the drug now… weening off is more often meant for those who have been on it for months/years… best of luck, you likely will be back to normal within a week or two.

Thanks for the replies guys. Today is the day I’m throwing this crap away, heh, that rhymed. Anyway, I’ll update y’all when my sides stop, the worst one atm is the penis discoloration/shaking/weird feeling. I’ll keep you guys in my prayers and thoughts, best wishes. :slight_smile:
