Glad he is spearheading some media awareness, perhaps someone he knows has been deeply affected by the drug.
This is good. With this much media attention it’d be hard for Merck to argue that they were unaware of the side effects. This shows that the company knows that they are destroying lives for profit. When this goes to court, lawyers need to mention the Vioxx case. It shows a history of behavior.

Going to do the same. I hope he will investigate some of the other side effects. Alot of us have had complete changes in our body shape due to muscle waste and weight management issues as if the shrinkage wasn’t enough. Guys have lost their jobs due to the cognitive sides. I’d like to see someone touch a bit on the suicides, the ended marriages, etc. This is a lot more than just the end of your sexual function.
The progress in the last 8 months or so has really been impressive compared with the last 6-8 years. Lets hope this momentum continues, if its possible to get a new article or media piece produced every month or so word is going to spread fast.
