This is a very very long book to read. I would personally go through pg. 165-170 and take a brief look. It mentions how Testosterone treatment is not effective in stimulating Po gene expression, however DHT was effective in doing so.
Look at the diagram I attached from this book also. Illustrates the various hormonal pathways and gene expressions.
