Neurologist

Has anyone been to see one re our problem? We all seem to go to Endo’s, would it make a dif, does anyone think?

Not unless they have insights into how Finasteride’s inhibition of neurosteroid production/interference with GABA-A receptors in the brain may have played a role in causing longlasting problems.

Neurologists are typically useful for muscle atrophy/loss of strength, cognition issues, muscle twitching and neurodegenerative diseases.

It really makes more sense to go to the endo dr, as you want to treat the souce of the problem. The source of the problem is hormonal in nature not a neuroligical problem that starts in the brain.

Finsucks went to a neurologist and was told to try Piracetam (I believe this is non prescription). Not sure if he ever tried it. Here is his link:
