None of that stuff works for me sorry
I had/still have sexual side effects, tinnitus, high anxiety, insomnia, severe fatigue, testicular pain, etc.
The benzodiazepines have helped with all of the above. When I try to taper off of the benzodiazepines the problems return.
Id be dead without zoplicone. My mind will.not turn off and is destroyed from iso and hallucinogens. Been on it for 13 yrs and don’t imagine i ever will not be
If the benzodiazepines help you noticeably with all those sides especially the sexual sides I can understand why you stay on them.
For me I took 16 Xanax tablets spread out over an extended period of time during my recent insomnia relapse. I can say with a high level of certainty that enhancing my GABA receptors response to GABA through positive allosteric modulation (with Xanax) that doing so did not help any other side effect other then the relapse insomnia. So in my case the negatives of being dependent on Xanax in the long term did not outweigh the positives. I also believe that long term artificial positive allosteric modulation of the GABA receptors further imbalances already imbalanced GABA receptors
I’m interested in further exploring the abnormal 3a-diol and Allopregnanolone readings found in my urine in others as I think this is the key to understanding more about the GABA imbalance
You’re just creating a bigger problem for yourself in the future if you chose to stay on benzodiazapines. The physical dependence and withdrawls are extremely bad. Benzos should only be used short term for severe anxiety. Talk to your doctor about alternatives for sleep, although not ideal, some include zoplicone, seroquel, amitriptyline.

People like you are why I’m done with this forum. I’m not gonna let someone like you tell me what medications to take. I’m completely done with this forum. I’m done trying to help people because I tell them what helps me. I just don’t care anymore because of people like you trying to tell me what to do. I have suffered enough, and I have scum like you telling me what I already know.
