I was on 0.5mg fin/day for 3 months and then 1.25mg/day for 5 months. At the end of my fin journey I had hard erections and no other apparent side effects. However, these erections were less hard than before fin (I had incredible erections before). I also lost my morning erections while on fin. Moreover, I had sometimes some difficulty maintaining erections while on fin. All in all, my erections on fin were great, not just as great as they used to be (I’m absolutely sure about this).
Now, I’ve been off fin for 6 days and it’s getting worse and worse. For the first 3-4 days I had nut ache and now I can’t get an erection.
My theory is that as the 5AR2 enzyme regenerates, it converts Testosterone to DHT. The testosterone is then reduced. Hence the erection problems.
I must mention that last night I had a hard erection but this was very very very long to achieve with the help of porn.
Any advice would be appreciated. Should I get back on fin? (no morning wood, but hard erections and good libido).
I’m so worried now…
