Hi I started taking propecia in February of 2012… I took in until April of 2013… My hair did grow while I was on the drug for 14 months and I had a hair transplant during that time. I stopped taking it in April of 2013 because I didn’t think I needed it anymore…April, May, June ,July, August came and I shed a lot of hair from the transplant because I quit taking it for 4 months. So I went in to see a doctor about another transplant… The doctor told me to start taking Propecia again… But instead of the REAL drug he gave me a generic prescription for finasteride… I started taking this generic finasteride in August of 2013 and while taking it I had sex one night with a very beautiful woman and I didn’t get fully hard… but was able to have sex for 4 hours and I couldn’t get off… Was very frustrating… I had sex 2 times after that and it was normal those 2 times after that… I was extremely paranoid and stopped taking the finasteride… I only took the finasteride for 8 weeks this time around… I have been off for 22 days today… The last finasteride 1 mg tablet I took was October 12 of 2013… Can anyone tell me what signs or symptoms to look for to let me know that I hahat I have recovered fully??? Someone please help
