Well they focused on Viox by Merck. How it was pulled from the shelves.
It’s basically a story on how easy it is to get a drug approved by the FDA. The FDA takes the pharmaceutical company’s word for everything. They use their tests… of which 80% are done on foreign soil. ie India “the new hub of drug trials”.
A friend of mine told me that the drug companies don’t have to report a death in a clinical trial in India, because death and poverty are so common there, they claim it’s unlikely to be caused by the drug.
