Tried Nolvadex 10mg / day to get back to Finasteride but threw away everything after my first day cause fuck that.

  2. If you have pre or post-Finasteride bloodtests, what hormonal changes have you encountered since discontinuing the drug (pls post your test results in the “Blood Tests” section and link to them in your post)?
I haven’t done them yet (post Fin) but will update soon

  3. Anything not listed in the above questions you’d like to share about your experience with Finasteride?
Tellogen Effluvium after stopping it, my hormones were thrown off balance for a month now, although it seems to come to an end.

  4. Tell us your story, in your own words, about your Finasteride usage and side effects experienced while on/off the drug

I’ve read a lot. Positive stories, negative stories, crazy stories. So what the hell, I’ll just add mine here. First of all, endocrinologist, blood tests and no generic Finasteride are a must. People who buy generic ones for a few bucks less are crazy. Same goes for the lunatics here saying “I had testicular pain but it went away so it’s all good now”.

Things I’ve learned: the drug is theoretically and practically dangerous or not safe. Period. The end. I’ve learned how the sympathetic and parasympathetic work together to produce erections, orgasms and so on. How DHT influences our system and most importantly how hormones are not a thing to play with, at least not if you wanna live long and without medication.

Things I’ve also learned is that if you are one of those dudes that had a fight with estrogen then you’re fucked. Definite gyno down the road, sides will slam you to the ground from the very first day in fact, slowly but surely your testosterone will decrease and you’re on your way for complete impotence and a life full of SERM cycles.

I’ve also learned that Nolva/Arimidex/Clomid and so on are not to play with. Single 10mg of Nolva and it wasn’t such a good feeling (even though test skyrocketed due to reasons we won’t go in detail now). And since you can’t do this shit in the long run and since it lowers igf-1 and hurts your eyes and much more, forget the quote “i will take something to fight the sides of Fin”. tl;dr you can’t.

It all comes down to this: if you take the drug, you hurt yourself. Take it for 20 years for all i care, the silent damage is being done. Doesn’t mean you’ll “crash” like some lunatics scream around here. It ain’t a fucking ride. But it will do its damage given the hard cold facts we got for the parasympathetic system and the constant low levels of DHT, not to mention the hormonal imbalance you may be causing (aka your “finasteride is making me lose more hair please help!” threads).

Now, if you take the drug (like I did), stop it immediately once you see the sides. Right there. Cold. And you will see sides pretty quickly if you are to see them. My crime is I haven’t done blood tests yet but given the fact I am back to normal and my sperm/erections/mood is normal and since my tellogen effluvium is coming to an end, I suppose I dodged a bullet.

The next time I see someone quote “anecdotal reports of 1%” I will beat the living shit out of him. Got my word on that. I’ve taken Ponstan as a kid for high fevers, taken Mesulid for some nasty strain or some shit I had once. I’ve taken aspirin, taken advice. But I shit you not (and I’m sure you know it too), this fucking drug was the nastiest. Never, ever, again. I rather buzz, got the bone/fact structure on my side. And if you don’t, go have few plastic sergeries and that “good-looking fella with the buzz cut”.

Norwood 4 going to 5 - with an awesome miniaturization and seborrhoic dermatitis for years that is recently cured - on my 30th bday btw, I’m not some weak little NW2 fuckboy crying cause his temples are thinning. So take my word.

If you are impotent, go the SERMS way and prepare yourself cause afaik the road is long and hard. If you are getting “mild” sides (as if that is a fucking thing), quit now. If you are getting no sides at all, good for you and rock your hair but know where you’re at.

Also, for some reason, any time I read or write about this shit drug, my dick gets limp. It must be its post traumatic shock, probably permanent. It’s like “get me outta here quick”. Nasty feeling, fuck this drug, got my clippers scaled 1 and a half / 2. Rocking it. Leave some beard too will ya.

Finally, the psychological part. I’ve never felt like I did, never knew what “feeling shit” is for a Fin user. Well, lived to experience that too. And yes, fellow Propecia users, it sucks. Not suicidal from the first day or any of that bs. But it’s the feeling your penis gets literally 0 blood circulation (remember the sympathetic and parasympathetic collaboration? yep that’s what it’s for among other things) and that feeling of it being “dead” or “asleep” is what pretty much drives you/me nuts.

Anyways, I guess you guys get one of these every day. Can’t even believe kids pop Duta like it’s candy. World’s crazy.
