My life is ruined with only 3 doses of finasteride

Happy New Year, everyone. Hope all of you had a great holiday.

Just an update, but I noticed that my joints no longer pop anymore. I didn’t realize it went away and just noticed this today. In the past, my joints would make popping sounds especially after workouts but they have gone away.

That said, my digestion is still kind of shaky. I think it’s the dairy and I need to cut it off completely.

Hello everyone.

It’s been a while since I last posted. If any of you are still following this thread and my life, I just want to say that things have been good. Better than ever since I took fin. You can tell by how infrequently I post now that my life is starting to become more normal. At this point in my life, I rarely think about fin and my symptoms.

My digestion is still not totally fixed, but I feel a lot less bloated lately. I’ve tried hard to cut out dairy completely, but it’s been hard since dairy is found in almost everything. I no longer drink a full glass of milk or drink lattes, and it’s done wonders to improve digestion. I can’t believe I didn’t realize I had an issue with dairy.

Sleepwise, things have been great. I was stuck at 5-6 hours of sleep every night with the occasional insomnia with heart palpitations. I am happy to report that I no longer get any heart palpitations or nights where I have trouble sleeping, even during days when I have caffeine late. I think I am getting 7-8 hours of sleep a night, so this is almost a completely recovery.

I’m continuing to exercise to lose weight. I hope to lose another 25 lbs by end of year.

Also, I think my libido is starting to come back. I mentioned before that it seems my libido is gone, but I didn’t care much about this since other health issues were more serious. But I can sort of feel a desire to have sex again. It’s hard to describe, but I hope I see more improvement in this area in the near future.

Just wanted to drop by and give hope to everyone here that things can get better even after 6 years of this nightmare. I hope all of you are doing well.

Great to hear how well you’re doing. Thanks for stopping back in to let people know how you’re doing. I think it’s very important for the community. I hope you continue to do so as you work your way back to a 100% complete recovery. Congrats on your progress.
