I noticed that yogurt and other sugary beverages make my upper-left stomach hurt. I think it may be my pancreas.
Are you still shedding hair? Is your scalp still itchy?
I had a very slight shed recently that lasted for 2 weeks, but I think that was just fall shedding. My hair density didnāt get worse during that time. The shedding has stopped. Iāll let you know if it returns.
My scalp still has slight itches every now and then, especially if I donāt shower for 2 days, but Iād say it actually itches less than pre-fin. Pre-fin, my entire hair would itch quit a bit on the 2nd day after showering.
Right now, the slight itches are concentrated on certain areas of my scalp and not the entire thing.
My shit smell returned.
My digestion has improved immensely over the past few months. The process was slow, but the improvements are notable.
I no longer poop out yellow stools or have stomach pain.
Sometimes my stools are not entirely well-formed, but other days my poops look ānormalā. Normal brown color, well-formed, etc.
Also, I am no longer gay. I would say Iām slightly straight now. I have slight urges now when I think of women.
Today hasnāt been a good day for me. Started having negative thoughts about the future. Iāll continue to wait and hope to see further improvements. I hope all of you are doing better.
Updated symptom list:
- Low Libido - Can achieve boners pretty easily. I just have no sex drive.
- Cracking joints - Some days are better than others. Still not sure whatās causing it.
- Back Pain - Iāve been getting episodes of back pain. The length of each episode has decreased with each occurrence, so I hope this goes away for good soon.
- Sleep - Iām still sleeping only 6 hours a night. Hope I can get to 8 hours soon.
- Digestion - Drastic improvement since beginning. I can tolerate almost any kind of food now. Stools actually look normal from time to time.
I want to try no fap to see if I notice any changes.
So itās been a few months since my last Vitamin D trial. I ingested 1000 iu today to see if I still have adverse sides.
I no longer get heart palpitations and dry mouth.
I feel a dull ache on my right tricep that lasted a few minutes. My penis also hurt very slightly for a few minutes. Very slight stomach discomfort that went away. Tinnitus for a few seconds in my left ear.
Iād say my tolerance for Vitamin D improved, but Iām still experiencing some adverse reactions. Itās still too early to start a supplement regimen. Iāll wait another 3-6 months before I start try another vitamin d dose.
Itās been over 3 weeks since my last back pain episode.
Hopefully itās a good sign that these pain episodes are getting less and less frequent.

Iām almost at my 4 week mark since my last back pain episode. So far so good.
Hit my 4 week mark since my last back pain episode. I think I had a very slight discomfort yesterday and today that is gone now.
Donāt want to jinx it, but I think I finally made it through 1 day without a single joint cracking/popping noise!
Also, Iām having really weird fluctuations with my sexual orientation.
I turned gay several months ago, and then it reversed a few weeks ago. Then I turned gay again for about a day before reverting back to being straight.
I hope Iām at the final stretches of this nightmare.
I developed some kind of anterior ankle sprain, though Iām not sure whatās causing it. My wrists are starting to hurt a bit.
Iām feel extremely depressed today. I think my body is continuing to deteriorate and thereās nothing I can do to stop it. Today I lost any hope of recovering. I need to focus on coping with my symptoms and hope that no more symptoms arise.
Update:
- My back is doing a lot better lately. Itās been 6 weeks so far, and I havenāt had any days with a ton of pain. Sometimes I get a little strain.
- I can do resistance training without my shoulders hurting like shit for days.
- Joints still pop every now and then.
- Still have digestive issues. I think itās getting better, but itās slow.
- Holy shit, my hair is growing back⦠My problematic areas are a lot fuller now. Itās even better than it was pre-fin.
Update:
I continue to improve.
- Back is doing better. Almost 2 months now with no pain on my back.
- Shoulders and joints doing a lot better. Iām slowly lifting heavier and no pain / popping noises the day after lifting.
- Digestive issues are still there.
- Sleep is about the same. I think Iām falling asleep faster and sleeping a bit longer. Maybe 6.5 hours instead of just 6 hours.

For the most part. Iāll have to examine my dick more, but I definitely havenāt seen it shrivel up lately.
Hey, guys. Just a quick update.
Continuing to see improvements. Back is doing much better. I got some back pain that lasted 5 days after I shoveled a ton of snow a couple weeks ago. I think I lost a ton of muscle in the back and I have to restore it. Iāll look into deadlifts.
I can drink coffee again!!! I no longer get heart palpitations, ball pain and insomnia after drinking coffee. This is a GIANT improvement for me, as Iām a big coffee guy. Feels so good to drink coffee again after almost a year. I am only drinking seldomly incase there are side effects that I might not be aware of. For now, Iām sticking mostly with water and avoiding other drinks until I feel I made an adequate recovery.
I think my libido is also improving. Had a very slight desire to bang a girl yesterday. Didnāt have that since this whole fiasco started.
Hair is continuing to improve. Not sure how I should feel about this. Pre-fin, I could see some thinning on my left corner. It got worse in the initial months of PFS when I got a huge shed. Today, it looks much better than even pre-fin. Not 100% full, but it most certainly looks much fuller than pre-fin. Very, very weird. You would think Test/DHT restoration would make my hair worse. I also havenāt gotten any scalp itch / scalp zits in months now. Itās so confusing. I do feel like my androgen receptors / androgen levels are normalizing, since I get the urge to bang girls and my muscles are coming back, so why isnāt my hair thinning?
Also, why in the world would lowering my DHT cause my scalp to itch like hell, cause my scalp hair to fall off, and cause my body hair to grow? Is it possible that some people have some kind of reverse reaction to androgens? This is all so confusing.
Joints, of course, are doing better. I havenāt gotten shoulder joint pain in a 3 months now. Unfortunately, it still pop but much less frequently than before.

One thing I would like to tell newcomers is that I feel that my recovery happened without any kind of intervention. I waited patiently. Even when I saw 5 months of no progress, I refused to experiment with supplements. Also note that I was a particularly HORRIBLE case of PFS. I got the whole list of side effects except for depression and suicidal thoughts. I had almost every symptom imaginable.
