My first results

I did the 24 hour cortisol test to where my cortisol plays into all this.

Cortisol mcg 24hr 16.1
ref range 4-50

Can anyone tell me if this is normal. It appears somewhat low/normal.

Based on my symptoms, body temps, etc. I believe I’m subclinical hypo thyroid. Trying to figure out if low/normal cortisol would fit this profile.

Have you tried posting your results on other forums? crisler’s forum?

You get feedback very fast and there are guys that really know there stuff

Normal. If you had a cortisol problem it would be blaringly evident.

It’s not normal; it’s very low. A young male has high range cortisol; hence, he has energy, motivation, etc… That’s what you should aim for.

Free T is low. Increase your cortisol (eg via transdermal pregnenolone supplementation) and you’ll see it going up. If E2 (not tested) is high, it will go down too.

you should do saliva cortisol test and go on stop the thyroid madness to compare. that only tells you your total cortisol throughout the entire day added up. you want to see your results throughout the entire day to see how much cortisol you are relasing. im about to do a cortisol saliva test pretty soon here as well…

Some things I noticed were that Testosterone was HIGH and DHT was almost at the top of the range. Being that these were in the urine, it looks like my body may be excreting these at a high rate?? Why would blood tests show Testosterone/DHT in the lower third of the range and the urine HIGH? Anyway, most of these values I am clueless as to what these hormones/metabloites even are. Dr. Crisler did not provide much insight here at all. If anybody know what THE, THB, THA, OHAN, ET are etc. or what having them out of range means I would appreciate the feedback. Thanks.

These are 5alpha and 5beta Reductase reduced metabolites. Your results seem in keeping with the patterns of others, see here: viewtopic.php?f=4&t=4674 What this means or even where these metabolites fit on a steoidgenesis chart - I dont know.

That would seem in keeping with my theory - increased metabolism. viewtopic.php?f=27&t=4695 I dont know if this is a common result though.

I know this will sound crazy (and sick), but what if one were to drink their own urine containing this high T/DHT???

LOL.

The CURE!

This actually is supposedly good for you. Not sure about the hormonal element of things but ultimately we need to address the root cause. Whatever the hell that is .

looks like you have high cortisol based on your on the high end of the range. seems like a common trend among people here having a high cortisol level… i don’t get why you would have i’m guessing normal estradiol levels after i read your symptoms in your story, which yuo attributed to possible high estrogen right?

I don’t know. My estrogen numbers have always been low. I think it has to do with ratios.

did you find a solution?
My blood tests regarding Test, Free Test and Prolactin are the same as yours!! I never thought I had the PFS because it wouldn’t fit the pattern I saw around here but I have strange symptoms that I am trying to find out where they come from and may well be wacked off hormonal system due to this poison.
