I had SLIGHT Porn and death grip Induced ED prior to Fin. Fin made it worse for about 5-6 months.

I now can confidently say that i am almost “recovered” but still back to my pre fin baseline. Thankfully, i got sensitivity back but erection fullness and erection duration is still suffering.

1.5 week ago I took a pill of etizolam and my erection quality has improved.
Now it’s still not great but it’s fuller and holds longer, still no libido though.
When I took it I felt it the next day, strange thing is that when I took another 2 pills a couple days later it didn’t do anything.
So I guess my baseline has improved a bit, which is a big thing for me after 5 years but I’m wondering how…

My ED and numbness is so bad today suddenly. Hasn’t been like this for months, I just don’t understand what the heck happened, didn’t eat or do anything new yesterday . I really hope it doesn’t stay like this… So frustrating!!

Me2, after starting Bupoprion I got a boner like in my old Me. It looked out of my trouthers. Now dick is flavid. Not numb but with cold feeling. No boner anymore.

Hi, man. What’s your protocol?

I figured out what caused my worsening. I haven’t had this bad ED since it all started. I drank a lot of wormwood alcohol over the weekend and now I see it is 5ari inhibitor apparently, but also muscarinic receptor antagonist… I wish I knew which of this 2 is causing the problem. Its definitely not placebo though, my penis is gummy and rubbery past few days like it hasn’t been for last 6 months, I truly hope it passes soon!! Fml

The last weeks I have had a boner put of the trouthers. Than scrotum an penis cold and only a weak 30 % erection possible. Penis little and shriveled together.
Today dirty phantasizes and a 80 90% boner out of the trouthers.
It really sucks. You think of some progress and it’s nothing.
This breaks every hope of recovery.
PFS breaks a man into a shell of his old self. Paranoid, isolated, suicidal

There is regeneration. There is hope. I never thought it would turn around. I prepared my life to to expect side effects forever. I think 3 years for me to see definite changes and I was severely impaired. Not cured but 75% back. Was healthy for me to change my life to living and coping with PFS and make my life simpler and less stressful.

Hi @Exsexgod,
I am sorry you are going through a bad time.
I just wanted to share what helped me to regain confidence. My starting point was also like 50% erections and mummifying feelings.

The first thing I did was asking myself if there was something else at that time that could have caused my problem. I realized I was under a lot of stress at work and avoided exercising because “I had no time”. I restarted taking care of my engine, every time I would have a bad erection I went for a walk or a run. This had three positive results: The first was that I wasn’t stuck thinking of my bad erection alone at home, the second was that my body released some endorphins from exercising, and it made me feel better, and the third were the general fitness benefits.

Secondly, I came to understand that my body wasn’t 20yo anymore. This took some time, but talking with peers made me realize that I wasn’t alone in this. Even for lads without any history of medicament, it wasn’t easy to perform like before. I had to set less expectations from my body.

What also helped was exposing my fears to my partner. Be very open about what was happening to me. I made my partner understand that I wanted her to feel satisfied and cared about her pleasure, but I wasn’t sure if I could do that at that time. The moment I said that and saw her understanding eyes looking at me, I already felt more relaxed.

Now I feel better, and I really hope you will feel better too very soon

Anything special you believe contributed to your recovery?

My erections recovered around 1-2 weeks in. I still have some problems with refractory period.

There’s some really great and uplifting stories on here , thank you for sharing @Akiyah and @MarkCH
It’s definitely given me a bit of hope reading these today

It’s terrific to hear there are some improvements for some. For me, it’s been 15 years of not feeling my penis, no orgasm sensation (except for a handful of times where it’s been about 5%), watery semen (fixed only by 6 months of hcg injections), zero desire and zero libido. Random “three day” recoveries have occurred, and sometimes I feel a tiny bit of my old self, but that may be once a year or longer. I can only get erections strong enough to penetrate with a Cialis, and when I do penetrate, I don’t even know it. The only reason I want to be with a woman is I need that human touch.

Having said this, I haven’t given up hope and am now throwing everything I can at this condition, but seem to be numb to it all. Hardly anything seems to have any effect at all, and that includes Testosterone injections, Anastrozole, R-Andro, progestorone creams, and shoeboxes full of various supplements. Mentally, things, including erections, feel better when eating a Keto style, low carb diet for a few weeks.

Bodyweight seems to play a large part in ED. When I’m lighter, it’s less pronounced, but still there. When I was at 15% BMI, I could function better with Cialis than now, at 25% BMI, but that would likely be the case without PFS.

Thanks for listening.

Its been 6 months since I quit Finasteride after using it for 4 years with breaks and last year without break. 3 months after quitting my morning erections were back and I was also able to achieve random erections. But after that it was a downward spiral .Now I have severe case of ED, and 5mg cialis does not help with anything. I want to know do things get better for people who have bad case of ED ? Should I look into HCG or any other hormone treatments ? I haven’t come across anyone who has complete ED in this group .
I guess I am looking for hope that things will get better, I want to have a woman in my life someday and with this condition it looks highly unlikely.

My PFS-like condition comes from accutane, not finasteride. So it’s up to you to consider my experience relevant or not. For me it was also like a downward spiral after some brief improvement which ended with a severe case of ED(around the late November-December). Since the beginning of this year my condition has drastically improved. Although I’m still far from my norm, my current state is already quite functional.
So I believe I can eventually recover, and I’m pretty sure there’s hope for you as well.
But I wouldn’t recommend experimenting with potentially harmful treatments on your own, without consulting with medical professionals.
Have you had your blood panel? Do you really need hormone treatment?

Yeah , you are right I don’t like the idea of introducing more poisonous drugs into my system to fight of a poison .

My urologist who seems to have no idea , who knows PFS exits but doesn’t believe it might have an profound impact on hormones ordered only a few tests .

Free T : 106.6 pg/mL (ref 35-155)
Testosterone total : 579 na/dL (ref 250-1100) my Testosterone total was 748 before starting Finasteride (5 years ago)
FSH : 12.1( Ref 1.6-8 ) high
LH : 3.3 mIU/ml (ref 1.5 - 9.3)
Prolactin :6.2 mag/mL (ref 2.0 - 18 )
Estradiol: 23 pg/mL (standard <= 29)

This blood panel tests were conducted 3 months ago when my erections were back to around 70-80 % . But the libido was only back by 30 %.

But since then I stopped taking supplements which helped me get my erections and it’s been bad , and the doctor said I don’t need to test DHT, progesterone , etc. I asked him whether I should take the T and free T again , he said no need.

how are u feeling now?
