Hi guys, here’s my situation: I’m tired of attending endocrinologists who don’t give a shit about what I tell them about finasteride.

First i went to this woman who prescribed me some bloodtests, but not the full test recomended in the faq:
So, what i have is this:

TSH 4,10 (0,35 - 4,5 mUI/l)
Prolactine 11,4ng/ml (2,0 - 18,0 ng/ml)
LH 3,8mUI/ml (1,5 - 9,2 mUI/ml)
FSH 0,8 mUI/ml (1,0 - 14,0 mUI(ml)
ESTRADIOL 27 pg/ml (30 - 90 pg/ml)
Testossterone 5,8 ng/ml (2,5 - 9,0 ng/ml)
17 OH progesterone 3,1ng/ml (0,5-2,5 ng/ml)
Free testosterone 3,36 ng/ml (2,0 - 4,0 ng/ml)

MY QUESTION:

I went to these 2 other docs, who said “the only values out of range are LH, FSH 17oh Progesterone”, and prescribed me blood tests for those 3. Since I don’t want to keep looking for a doctor who actually cares to give me a full bloodtest, what I can do is simply add to the prescription some other stuff to test.

Given my bloodtests, and what the faq says, what other things do you think I should add to the prescription?

Given your low FSH, I am wondering whether you have some of the ejaculatory symptoms mentioned on this site?

High progesterone is something many of us exhibit.

I would recommend that you wait a month and take LH/FSH again. In the mean time try to get a 24 hour urinary steroid profile (avialable in most parts of the world).

My main symptoms:

low libido
bad erections
watery semen
dry eyes

If you can get Inhibin B tested in Argentina that might provide an additional clue for your doctors. FSH levels are not as variable as LH levels, so a level below 2.0 is cause for concern. Inhibin acts to surpress FSH, while activin (only tested in research labs) acts to moderate inhibin levels.

More importantly, the 24 hour urinary steroid profile can tell you quite a bit about what is going on.

Ok, thanks a lot for the answers.

So I should do:

1. get the 24 hour urinary steroid profile

2. check if inhibin B can be tested around here
   Well, I just found a lab that specializes in fertility issues (ceusa-laeh.com.ar), so I suppose there might be others.

3. LH, FSH and progesterone again (they are already there); should I add something else to the bloodtest?

wow your fsh is lower then mine, and I thought mine was the lowest ive seen. your tsh is high, but your free T is good. Youre E2 is to low as well, its below the range. T could be higher.
