My blood tests (2 years off)

So I finally went to do bloodtests, to at least try and see what’s going on.

According to my endo, all levels are ok, except for TSH that needs to be monitored. TSH (Thyroid function) went from almost 4 (before fin, and while on it) to 1,81.

But for me, at least 2 other items require attention:

  1. Prolactin is low (4,3). I found the following article when I typed "low prolactin levels symptoms”:
    livescience.com/41322-low-pr … rment.html

  2. PSA is 0,5. I may be exagerating this, but PSA seems to be somehow linked to the size of the prostate. Nonetheless, no MD whatsoever will ever make a fuss about an abnormally SMALL prostate! And what’s even weider, is that all symptoms that I (we) have such as no libido, ED, ejaculation disorders, penile shrinkage, etc, seem to be symptoms of prostate hypertrophy (enlargement).

I will do some research and get back.

In the meantime, here are my full results. Sorry, it’s a little hard to get this in a nice format. First two columns are Low / High, and then I have my blood test results from Mai 2012 (BEFORE fin), Nov 2013 (about 1 year on fin), and Jan 2016 (2 years off).

High TSH indicates hypothyroidism. Have you checked the T3/rT3 ratio?

Low- or high prolactin may indicate an issue with thyroid hormones as well.
