My blood test results.

Hi guys, below are my blood test results, I was on propecia for about 13 months, am now 29 and in fairly good physical shape (heavy lifting 4-5 times per week). While on the drug I experienced depression, fatigue and loss of spontaneous/nocturnal erections. I stopped about 2 months ago and think I “think” my symptoms are slowly getting better naturally. I am not sure what the drug did to my hormone profile so I had my doctor run blood tests on me as per the FAQ on the main page. He refused to do ALL the tests I requested as he never heard of Persistant Finasteride Side effects and thought it was lawyers blowing things out of proportion trying to make a quick buck. I was able to convince him to do some of the basic ones and showed him some literature from this site to convince him otherwise. I think the results look pretty good, but I know a lot of people have a lot more experience interpreting these than I do especially fsh and lh. As a side note, while I was on propecia in June, I had TSH measured as part of a yearly physical and it was 3.6, now that I’m off the drug it seems to have normalized. I know this isnt a complete picture and I’m missing some key tests, but its the best I could do for now.

If you are recovering naturally then try not to get sucked into the internet help too much though.

Been trying to do some research, it seems like I am victim of very low FSH and LH levels like most post fin users, but my test is very normal, some might say even a little high given my age. I cant really find many people in the same situation, my physical sides are 90% gone, but I still have some fatigue and brain fog. Not really sure what to make of all this.

Vapo, I didn’t see an associated member story for you. Regarding brain fog, members here have reported improvements via fasting, a paleo diet, eliminating caffeine, sugar, and alcohol from their diets, eliminating stress, and getting exercise (though not too much, limit workouts to 45 min), which you seem to be.

How long have you been off finasteride?
