Mew,
thanks for your help…
I got my lab tests done at Lab Corp through privatemdlabs.com as you suggested in one of your previous posts.

When I directly approached lab corp they didn’t do the tests as I don’t have a requisition from a doctor. So, I went through privatemdlabs.com..

your FSH is borderline low, but its really the only thing. Everything else is normal - not even mid-low. considering you took the pill for only 4 days, and are still having morning erections, your probably going to be fine. Id say any difficulties you have are psychological. Of course, im not a doctor. This is just my opinion.

Thanks for the reply golf17331,
I do agree I have some psychological problems after going through all these situations… I’m trying to overcome that … But, I’m sure that I have some physical problems as well…

  1. Reduced Ejaculate
  2. I’m able to get erections during nights while I 'm on bed or seeing porn or if I massage my penis and testicles…If I stand or walk I’m not able to sustain that erection…not even for a minute…
3)I’m getting depressed for few days and getting back to normal… I’m not sure if this mood swing was due to fin …

I didn’t see any changes since I quit fin…

Let me know if I’m not clear as I’m not good at English…I’m trying to be as clear as I can…

The ejaculate fortunately gets better for everyone after some time. The erection quality… may be psychological, may be not. How’s your libido?

It was good for few days and all of a sudden I’m loosing all my libido and feeling like zero…

At this point I should say I’m having cycles…
The negative cycles are during the time I was depressed…

Is there any thing that Is caused by high Free T…

high free t is a GOOD thing. the more free T, the more your body is able to use. Testosterone is GOOD.

FSH is borderline low. Consider getting a fertility test done.

can I get this fertility test done with out doctors requisition form…?

What about my estrogen value…? Is it in range… I didn’t understand this value as the ranges not clearly given in my report …

krish,

how were you feeling the day you took the blood test? This is very important to know, because if you are having cycles your values can change a lot from day to day. For example, my T was in 100s (although it was tested at 5pm), and 6 days later in the 700s (http://www.propeciahelp.com/forum/viewtopic.php?t=3070). Also, I think that knowing how you were feeling that day helps you understand if you have any androgen insensitivity. If on that day you were feeling bad despite the good blood test result, it is probably a bad sign…

The 2 days before test were very bad…I took the test on 31st march morning 8:00AM and after the blood test the day was not bad.

Most of my cycles are mental… I’m feeling very depressed and my libido is very low (might be due to getting depressed) in my negative cycles… I just noticed a small change in the sexual side effects during the cycles…

Doctors always tell me that the lower FSH the better the fertility :/.

my Liver functionality test and IGF1 results…

TSH results…

last week I had appendicitis surgery as i had severe pain in my appendix.

They took the blood test and below are the results before the surgery.

WBC---------------17.5--------4.0-10.0
RBC----------------5.50--------4.5-6
HGB----------------15.9--------14-17
HCT----------------45.3--------40-54
MCV----------------82.4--------85-95
MCH----------------29.0--------28-32
MCHC---------------35.2--------32-36
RDW----------------14.0--------11-15
PLT CNT------------196---------150-400

DIFF TYPE
LYMPH#-------------0.7---------1-4
MONO#--------------0.5---------0-1
GRAN#---------------16.4-------2-7
LYMPH---------------4----------20-45
MONO----------------3----------0-10
GRAN-----------------93---------45-70

I was told the WBC and some other values are out of range due to the bacteria in the appendix and will get back to normal once it is removed…

in the discharge orders I was suggested to get the following tests done

1)prostate screening.
2)cholesterol screening.
3)colonoscopy screening.
4)diabetic screening.
5)osteoporosis screening.

I’m meeting a primary care physician on 21st …
are any of these related to finasteride???
are ther any Questions I should ask the physician???

my test results

You could be borderline hypothyroid with 3.2 TSH forcing your thyroid in overdrive.

I’ve posted this link before, but thought I’d do it again. It’s a good write up on TSH levels. According to this with a TSH of 2.5 you are in the upper 5% of readings. Since yours is 3.2 you’d probably be in the 2 or 3 percentile.

Thank you anonn1 and badluck for the response… I will consult my doctor and see if he can give me some suggestions…I’m off fin from 3 months and didn’t see any change…this might be the cause for my ED. I’m not able to get erections without physical stimulation and while I’m standing…It is also difficult to maintain erections…

Krish - since you can get neurotransmitter testing - are they able to test allopregnanalone?

From what I recall, Allopregnanolone is not commercially available as a test. Dr. Jacobs mentions this in his post as well:

However, it doesn’t hurt to ask.
