My Adrenal Stress Index Results

Hello fellow PFSers. Here are the results from my ASI. Appreciate you taking a look.

If anyone has any knowledge regarding these results please let me know!

My doc explained it, but I need it in more layman’s terms. Plus, my head hurts. It takes me longer to understand things now. :frowning:

1. TAP Free Cortisol Rhythm - Saliva

6 - 8am: 8 - Depressed (13-24nM)
11 - 1pm: 4 - Depressed (5-10nM)
4 - 5pm: 5 - Normal (3-8nM)
10 - 12am: 3 - Normal (1-4nM)

Cortisol Load: 20 (22 - 46nM)

2. DHEA Free (DHEA + DHEA-S)

Pooled Value = 5 - Normal (3 - 10 ng/ml)

3. Insulin -Saliva

Fasting <3 - [no value given] (Normal: 3 - 12 uIU/mL)

Non-Fasting <3 - Depressed (Optimal: 5 -20 uIU/mL)

4. 17-OH Progesterone

Result = 45 - Normal (Optimal: 22 - 100 pg/ml)

5. MB2S Total Salivary SIgA

Result = 8 - Depressed (Normal: 25 - 60 mg/dl, Borderline: 20 - 25 mg/ml)

6. Gliadin AB, SIgA (Saliva)

Result = 4 - Negative (Positive = >15 U/ml)

Depleted overall cortisol. Low morning, higher evening/night. This is pretty consistent with adrenal burnout.

The ICD-9 code is 255.41.

I was diagnosed with the same. I take cortef for it which helps immensely with fatigue, mood, mental clarity, brain fog, sleep. But has not helped with ED and sex drive.

Thanks moomman1.

I’m also wondering about the depressed Insulin and SIgA numbers. I don’t know what these mean exactly.

I’ve contacted my doctor via email and have asked for a brief explanation.
