Musculus ischiocavernosus important for bloodflow in penis

Found maybe something IMPORTANT for my issues regarding erections. I was at the physical therapy in an hospital to treat my pain in the region of my butt. My issue got better with that but there is pain still left. We found out that my Musculus ischiocavernosus is irritated and therefore the pain while sitting and MAYBE the issues with my erections. This muscle helps to keep the blood inside the penis while erected. So that would be an explanation for not long lasting erections too.

translated from a website:
“The ischiocavernosus muscle compresses the crus penis (or the crus clitoridis) and thus delays the venous return flow from the erectile tissue. This stabilizes the erection.”

Did someone of you try to reach the muscle and look if it is feeling sore or giving pain while touching?

I get pain around my ischial tuberosity after I take Cialis, especially if I have sex for too long. But I haven’t had pain in the muscle you mentioned. I do massage that muscle area since getting PFS which briefly helps with erections. I didn’t know it was involved in venous flow so thanks for that info!
