mTOR and depression

I wonder if anyone recovered/improved with LEUCINE or BCAA’s? Particularly muscle atrophy and depression related symptoms?

Today i saw the news about the researcherd who connected surplus of synapses with autism.

It appears that the surplus was due to an overactive mTOR pathway.

I wondered if mTOR could be underexpressed in depressed peopl.
Its hypothesised that mTOR increase is behind the antidepressant effects of low dose ketamine.

It seems mTOR is also involved in muscle creation and leucine enhances it.

I have been taking Whey Protein BCAA and it includes Luecine. Also take creatine. But a serious workout plan is where the results come from. Yes, I’ve put muscle back on and have lost most of the stubborn fat, but this took 10 months.

It wont act the same way if u take it together woth lots of amino because the body will trybto use it as protein to build muscle i think.
Have u tried it as a separate amino acid?
