Mr. Freet

Just wondering if any of you purchased the e-book of Mr. Freet on erectile dysfunction?
http://www.mrfreet.com/products/the-truth-about-erectile-dysfunction-ebook

He seems to think that ED can be resolved by cutting white carbs, eating saturated fat, and eating 3 eggs before bed. There’s a little more into it, but it’s pretty much the bulk of it!

I’m not saying this would resolve our whole issues, but I was wondering if the protocol, if applied rigourously, could make a difference in libido and ED …

Now that I paid for the book, I might as well try the protocol ! I will let you know within a month.

I guess it wasn’t necessary to buy the book, cause the essence of his opinion about pfs is posted on his web site… Yes, the protocol is def. worth trying, but the thing is that recovery from leaky gut is really slow and the diet has to be absolutely strict. First I made some improvements, but then relapsed back to the starting point… Now I am suspecting it is because I didn’t completely eliminate coffee and fruits

Amazing how so many of these doctors advocate an approach thats years of buying supplements and information from them.

Oh and if you don’t recover it’s because you weren’t doing xyz strictly enough.

What he’s essentially driving at his cholesterol is the main precursor of all hormones, and by eating a fat rich diet you will ensure enough supply. That’s it.

They prey on your insecurities and then charge you $50+ for information that is widely available on the internet for free, and is mostly common sense anyway.

I attended ann entrepreneur lecture at university years back and one of the speakers was promoting this concept. PDF guides are essentially the result of googling basic information, cherry picking pseudo science to justify it, regurgitating anecdotes and then presenting it as the cure you’ve been looking for. Many will have several identical websites for multiple treatments.

It’s a con, a profitable one as unfortunately there are many sick and desperate people like us in the world. Look at the forums for CFS, Fibromyalgia, Autism, Adrenal Fatigue. All about the latest protocol, or supplement, never any improvement. Same lunatics like JustQuitDut preaching about the final cause, yet 6 months down the line still posting about what it actually is.

I’d also put many of the doctors referred to on here in that camp as well. They know they’ve never successfully treated anyone with PFS, but will happily listen to you for a $500 consultation fee and prescribe the standard regimen for hypogonadism knowing full well it’s ineffective.

I believe you are absolutely right !! I bought the book out of curiosity. It’s 49 pages and not that many words per page. It might have taken me an hour or so to read … I don’t know much about the science of ED, but didn’t learn much either.

Moreover (of course), there is absolutely no scientific evidence (studies) in reference to what he is stating. Only his own personnal experience !!

Yes, it’s a scam. I will try it anyways, having nothing to lose (and there’s no medication involved anyways), but I doubt that cutting out pizza and pasta will bring back hard rock erections !!!

@ dannyfc
Of course I completely agree with you on a general level. But I don’t think that is the case with this guy. He has posted five texts on pfs in which he has elaborated his theory… It’s not like buy this book and you will find out how to cure pfs… No, anybody can read what he has to say about pfs and I don’t see any reason for buying that book. I am not sure that he even mentions the book in those pfs related texts.

And that the diet has to be strict is my observation… Whenever I eat the smallest amount of sugar, gluten, grain or alcohol (other than beer) I feel abdominal pain, brain fog becomes worse etc, so I’m def. sure I have leaky gut, which is a great environment for an autoimmune disease to originate.

As usual Danny has the facts nailed. The Charletons and deluded will disagree, however, time and the capacity to resist suicide are the only data points worth mentioning in recovery.

There is no mainstream medical remedy to this issue because the scientists competent enough to acknowledge that pfs is a fact are also the same ones that will admit their ignorance to its cause. Unfortunate but true. Presently.

Whats his reasoning for eating 3 eggs before bed?

In my understanding, he says that eggs are good for testosterone, and since most testosterone is produced overnight, this kind of gives it a boost. Re-establishing nocturnal erections being one of the keys to solving ED …

FYI, I’ve been emailing with him and found this interesting in terms of summarizing his view:

His view here seems like some worthless generalization/speculation… The leaky gut theory only makes sense if there is autoimmunity involved, which could be the exact way in which the gut is “preventing our body from correcting the damage”. It’s not like we are suffering from mild hormonal imbalance, but we all got through some dramatic changes. I don’t see any reason to bring in some mystifications like he is doing here- if pfs is due to leaky gut, pfs is an autoimmune disease.

I agree, mostly speculation. He wrote some 30 page booklet that he’s selling for an exorbitant rate claiming it is based on years of intense study and research. BALONEY! It’s a mish-mash of commonly known remedies for increasing testosterone and improving erectile function. Nothing ground-breaking…could even pass for common sense some of this stuff. Perhaps he is or was rather a genuine sufferer but he is definitely trying to profit off of this.
