Million Dollar Question...

This is what I would love to know.

People talk about Finasteride and its supposed half life after discontinuation if the shit but if it has such a short half life, how come it continues to eat away at our bodies acting faster than cancer or any other disease?

Surely with almost all medications, the drug should eradicate from your system very quickly

Yet this mother fucker takes hold and refuses to give up on taking over our fucking bodies like an alien life form!!!

How does it do this???

It must bind to almost every single organ within our bodies as well as the blood stream to create its own take over gene and resistance to most other forms of medications.

You should really do some research before starting threads like this.

The only thing you can do is compare your own problems to other known illnesses given your symptoms/blood test results. At the very least you might be able to better define what category your own post-finasteride symptoms belong.

Also, when asking ‘How does it do this???’ it is sensible to first compare it to things that are known. For example;

What diseases are known to be triggered by enzyme inhibitors?

What types of diseases can get worse after using enzyme inhibiting drugs?

What diseases are known to effect enzymes? (We know there are still problems with 5aR enzyme in the nervous system at least).

What disease is known to be caused by 5aR inhibitors? (the answer is none [yet] so a better question is What is a rare side effect of common drugs?)

I’ve asked these questions and it clear to me, by a process of elimination at least, what the cause of my own symptoms, at least, must be.

Right guys, as you can probably tell, I’ve had way to much time on my hands lately to comprise my theory of how and why fin destroys us in one way or another, some to greater and some to a lesser degree.

So here goes…

What do we know about finasteride?

FACTS

Shrinks our prostates
Shrinks/reduces DHT
Shrinks Our sex drive
Shrinks Erection ability
Shrinks fluids in brain leading to depression
Shrinks our intake of alcohol

OTHER NON FACTUAL

Shrinks Penis / Balls
Shrinks skin (Dry)
Shrinks Testosterone Levels In Some
Shrinks Bones (osteoporosis)

Any way you get my point so onto my theory…

Our brain controls EVERY function within our body, without blood or oxygen to our brain we die.
Once finasteride sets to work, it starts out by disolving into blood stream by initially attacking us via our liver, hence why it states may affect certain liver function tests. Once processed via the liver and out into main blood stream, the 5 alpha reductase rushes up our bodies via the heart muscle, which in some may cause heart palpitations then up the brain, once it reaches the brain it searches for our hypothamus, because finasteride is like a well trained dog that is playing a game of fetch with a stick, except finasteride is trained or programmed to search for the area of our brain responsible for GROWTH, thus the hypothalamus. Once it reaches this primary target area it does in some secrete deep inside this section of the brain by crossing the blood brain barrier by now accessing and taking over our bodies hormones and in some beyond.

If you are unfamiliar with the functioning of the hypothalamus, I will explain its primary functions or feel free to search the net.

Hypothalamus

Controls our core body temperature
Controls GROWTH, bone and tissues
Controls SLEEP (insomnia)
Controls hunger, thirst, stimulations
Thirst - less desire or altered alcohol intake
CONTROLS our PITUITARY Gland which is responsible for all our hormones.
The pituitary gland controls sexual drive, mood, thoughts, depressive states, emphatic states plus much more.

If finasteride works as it was designed to, it will signal for the pituitary to shrink the output of DHT to encourage hair growth but at the same time can reduce the presence of DHT in other vital organs throughout our body such as the penis and testicles, leading to shrinkage of these sexual organs in some men. Whilst altering the DHT output which our bodies are not used to, this alters the bodies natural harmony of other inter linked hormones, that we are all too familiar with, LH, T, FSH and so on.
Now with our bodies endocrine systems altered our brain has to try and function without one of its main hormones DHT, throwing our body into spasms, literally in my case, all over body muscle twitches/spasms.

With DHT suppressed, some bodies can survive with this reduced levels whilst others cannot.
With an overall depletion of hormones flowing throughout our bodies, the drug can really get to work now by attacking its second objective, the prostate, but not only the prostate but surrounding organs and tissues, namely the penis and testicles.

In my case, my penis was attacked by lack of DHT and the drugs power to cause shrinkage, narrowing of my penis tissue, making it thinner but longer, whilst internal tissues of my penis have be stretched by the thinned shape, causing pain during urination. I believe my internal tissues stretched which in turn results in my slight incontinence after natural urination is complete.

As far as shrinkage to testicles, again this is summary is because of a lack of vital harmony of hormones to the testes due to two reasons, pituitary not firing properly and lack of blood flow.
Think of what causes an erection, blood pumped from almost every vital organ in our bodies and also controlled to a lesser extent by our sex gland known as the prostate which produces certain fluids via the semenal canal. If this become restricted due to shrinkage the result will be less blood flow to the penis, resulting in impotence or similar. Try to imagine what happens to a plant without water for a few weeks, leaves will fall from the stems and the stems themselves with begin to die, much like our Leydig cells in our testicles if normal blood flow is reduced, causing the strangulation affect on blood vessels and veins.

Many of these described affects are unrepairable.
In many users of finasteride, our bodies immune system will try hard to fend off this intoxication by healing certain cells in the brain and other parts of the body over time through a natural healing process and it is my belief that no amount of substitute, such as TRT, Clomid etc will have very little bearing. Hence why natural healers say they feel 70-80% better and did nothing to attain these results. This is why people describe taking propecia as a game of Russian roulette, because nobody can predict how each individual will respond to such intoxication nor IF our bodies can repair itself. Those that cannot, will carry the scars of the drug for many years or perhaps a lifetime with brief lapses of improvements as our misfiring chemical imbalances try to shine through beyond the ever suppressions if our bodily functions.

In summary, finasteride attacks our neurological make up primarily and then secondary to this attacks most other stem cell, bodily function, making us more severe sufferers, impaired both mentally and physically because it has reduce our total being in size and the reason finasteride continues to cause problems after discontinuation is due to how the drug has told our brain to behave.
