Mexican Newspaper Does the Right Thing...

Just noticed (in Google News) that the Mexican newspaper Riviera Maya News just ran a story on hair-loss treatments that parrots all the old, dangerous Propecia messages:

riviera-maya-news.com/the-tr … /2015.html

Then I noticed that they have an asterisk (*) on the word Propecia, and at the end of the story they add:

“*Although the FDA continues to approve propecia for use, it has also listed some of the severe and often long-term side effects with its use such as increased risk of prostate cancer and allergic reactions. For more information on propecia (finasteride), visit Post-Finasteride Syndrome Foundation.”

And they link directly to the PFS Foundation website.

Thanks, Mexico! (Read it and weep, Kenneth C. Frazier. Read it and weep.)

If anyone is so inclined, it would be nice to leave a message on the story letting the editors know you appreciate their responsible reporting.

Just bumping this up, case you have not yet seen.

If nothing else, at least click on the link and read the story, to show your support for those member of the media who support our cause.

Thanks.
