metalic taste in mouth with crash??? anyone else???

did any of you experience a strong metalic taste in your mouths when first crashing??? i thought it was just me but have just seen something simillar on another members story, any ideas to what causes this anyone???

Never had this, would not expect any correlation with Finasteride.

Not a scientific source, but many places online like livestrong.com suggest hormonal fluctuations could be a cause. There could be many causes, but if it is in any way associated to your crash, it could be due to that.

this is certainly associated with crash( low testosterone). I think it is because your calcium in blood is too high (lost from bones) and also you are loosing enamel form your teeth. have you gone to your dentist? please visit him he should check your teeth and gums.
I had it and posted many times here. I got rid of it after starting Vitamin D. To search other causes is a waste of time.
If you don’t treat it now just wait until you feel unbearable pain in your bones.

ive never had any tooth or gum problems, just remember the strong metalic taste in the first few weeks of the crash, ive mentioned this to an endo before but he never said anything,i thought i was the only one till i seen it on one of your posts earlier…

I had this around my crash. Dont know what caused it.

yup!! Had this as well, orange juice tasted particularly funny
