MERCK RESPONDS to Doctor of Propecia sufferer!

‘‘Sincerity, once you can fake that you’ve got it made.’’

Thanks for posting the letter.

As expected, seems they are happy to quote their skewed statistics when it comes to sexual dysfunction being less prevalent than what is probably true.

However, see the attached screenshot. Is it possible for you to ask your doctor to obtain these abstracts, so that you can have a copy of them for your records and could possibly share them with us here?

They do admit some studies mention changes to hormone levels and genitalia, and if this is from their internal database then this would be even more valuable.

Keep us posted.

Adverse effects on the male genitalia?! Why the hell weren’t these listed in the adverse effects list? I liked my old dick among other things this has fuc*ed up.

Update:

Merck’s study abstracts have been scanned and are now posted here:

wow i just read mercks studies… that’s fucked up…

I appreciate that this is a very old thread. Were any references to changes in genitalia ever presented?

.

Makes me sick to the bone. They knew the drug was dangerous.

Any studies on genitalia?

Does anybody have similar correspondence between Merck and a doctor or patient from the US rather than the UK? This could be quite important and I’ll explain why if you’re able to help out with this. It can be redacted if you prefer.

Even a little better would be if there’s some documentation where Merck says they’ve never seen any persistent side effects in patients taking finasteride.
