Why is it that you can only be a member of this forum if you have got the side-effects of finasteride?

How are doctors and other people who have had experience with TRT and or PCT going to be able to help us?

There are a lot of bodybuilders out there that know this stuff like the back of their hand, yet they are not aloud to join???

While this forum is available to the general public for reading, the Yahoo group had a policy of only letting in members that had taken and quit Finasteride, and still had side effects. Many people that had sides while on the drug also had resolution of those sides when they quit… but for some of us, they did not resolve. Hence this group.

I thought it was agreed on the Yahoo group we were to continue this policy when we moved the forum here, to prevent those who did not have sides or who where “just curious” from joining and asking redundant questions.

The difference between this forum and Yahoo is that anyone can read our posts now, without signing up. BUT unlike Yahoo, anyone can actually join and post if they want here.

So if bodybuilders or doctors or whoever want to join, then by all means they are welcome. Hypo-is-Here is one such member, he was not a fin user but was able to provide useful advice via his readings on andrology.

But again, this group is at its core meant for those people who’s sides have not resolved after quitting. Thus we are not trying to cater to those who are still on the drug, since their side effects MAY clear up once they quit.

I will change the message to say “Medical Professionals and those with drug experience are more than welcome” or something like that…

This is just a suggestion, but I would make it an open forum considering how slow this new one is to get going and so there is no confusion as to who can join and who cant. You can just as easily kick people off the site if you get the odd person asking stupid questions. Isnt that what the moderators are for?

Its as easy as putting it in the forum rules that questions from current fin users wont be answered and they will be asked to leave if they do so.

I really think we need to get this forum on the map.

I had problems joining this group as a member of the yahoo group. I had to submit my application 4 times because the 200 or so character profile (if I remember corretly) was not accepted - it had to be reduced to about half the size.
This may have been a problem for other people, and may have put them off.
Cheers.
