And there it is… I still have all the same issues despite these tests… I think this is some form of neuropathy or something. I was able to walk barefoot on a walkway that would have been very painful to me in the past. Also all the symptoms of low T and more. Not sure how long I can keep this up if I continue to decline. This is some form of sick torture.

It can be anything but I wouldn’t think about some drastic incurable physical defect - an apocalypse - yet. The sensitivity of your skin here and there depends a lot on many factors and sensitivity can turn on/off within very short period of time. I know this because my penis is quite insensitive in general but sometimes when I have libido it becomes ultra sensitive and normal again. Basically it seems to be something “in my head” rather than something “physical/mechanical”. And my tool was totally numb, flaccid, cold unerect and dead for somewhat more than 2 years after stopping hair loss drugs.

Besides this, a low T reading means basically nothing. I’ve done a lot of blood tests and my T level was quite varying between 10 and 22 (in the range 10-27). Maybe measuring your T a few hours later or the next day would give much better results. What is much more useful in my opinion (than a total T reading) is a T/E ratio and a T/SHBG ratio (free androgen index) or a direct free T measurement if available (as T/SHBG is usually used only as an approximation of free T).

Met up with my Endo today. It was basically what I expected. All my blood work is fine. My initial low T high E reading were not normal but its readjusting. He did not discredit my notion that it was off because of finasteride. He recommended checking again in 6months to a year. The problem is most certainly not hormonal. Its interesting he mentioned desensitizing receptors if you go on TRT. I felt like saying, Fuck! that’s exactly what the finasteride did to us. Now we don’t even respond to TRT. What a mess.
