MartinM Blood Tests

This is the first blood test I received while on Propecia for the last month after 3 + years.

CK Total: 58; 0-200 IU/L
Testosterone Tot: 477; 50-1100 ng/dL

TSH w/free T4 RFX (TSH): 1.24; .4-4.5mIU/mL

The rest of the standard blood and urine panels turned out in range. it’s of note at this point I had taken on a very feminine appearance, moods, and couldn’t get hard.

This is the second blood test I received post rebound and post crash after stopping Propecia:

T4 Free non-dialysis: 1.38; 0.8-1.8 ng/dL
Prolactin, Serum: 10.3; 2.0-18ng/mL
TSH 3rd Generation: 0.96; 0.4-4.5mIU/L
Hemoglobin A1C: 5.4: <6.0%
Thyroid Peroxidase AB: <10; <35 IU/mL
Vitamin D 25-Hydroxy, total: 30; 20-100ng/mL
Vitamin D, 25-OH, D3: 30; ng/mL
Vitamin D, 25-OH D2: <4; ng/mL

I had tests that turned negative for:

Hep A
Hep B
Hep C

Standard blood panel that turned out in range

The Dr. would not even acknowledge that I could be having side effects from finasteride, though they said there are always negative things that come out later with new drugs. It was a total brush off and they told me to not come back because they couldn’t help me.

It’s obvious that the Dr. didn’t understand because they wouldn’t even test Estradil.

Cortisol: 17.6; 4-22 mcg/dL (AM)
T4 Free non-dialysis: 1.4; 0.8-1.8 ng/dL
LH, Serum: 3.9; 1.5-9.3 mIU/mL
FSH, Serum: 3.8; 1.6-8.0 mIU/mL
Testosterone, Total: 520; 241-827 ng/dL
TSH, 3rd Generation: 0.87; 0.4-4.5 mIU/L
Prolactin, Serum: 10.5; 2.0-18ng/mL
Hemoglobin A1C: 5.4: <6.0%
Thyroid Peroxidase AB: <10; <35 IU/mL
Vitamin D 25-Hydroxy, total: 30; 20-100ng/mL
