Marshall Protocol & Bacterial Die Off = PFS?

Here is another theory.

Based on my personal experience, finasteride was either an immunosuppressant or an immunomodulator. I didn’t get sick for the first year, and since then have not been susceptible to colds or flus. Instead, I get rampant unchecked autoimmune-like inflammatory responses.

According to the Marshall Protocol, Vitamin D is an immunosuppressant which, when stopped, (coupled with VDR blocker Benicar and low dose antibiotics), causes your “innate” immune system to rebound and kill the pathogens. When this happens, you get all kinds of bad symptoms of bacterial death. The “cytokine storm.”

What if going off of finasteride causes our innate immune system to kill off pathogens, which leads to all kinds of symptoms and this only occurs to those who were burdened by pathogens or prone to autoimmunity in the first place?

Let me know if any of you have thoughts. This is just a theory.

Could there be another reason why you didn’t get sick?

do the survey

Nope. I used to get sick all the time and then, even being under more stress from school, didn’t get sick. But after some time on the drug I crashed and started getting these autoimmune episodes. Not really colds or flus, but more severe periods of inflammation. So there was like an immune shift that took place.

The survey doesn’t apply to me. I am still tapering off of finasteride, which is tough because I keep getting withdrawals even at a very low dose. So I am not even “PFS”, rather just “FS.”
